Welcome
As a small, rural Primary, Bridestowe prides itself on its warm and welcoming atmosphere and its strong connections with the local community. Bridestowe has provided education for the local community for over 150 years. The original Trust Deed establishing the school in 1862 by the Church of England, recognised the importance of learning long before the main Education Act of 1870. Today, Bridestowe provides a broad and balanced curriculum which focuses upon the children's knowledge, skills and wider cultural development.
Our School has the highest expectations of each child and we encourage our pupils to achieve academically and to become active contributors to society. Learning is a lifelong process and we aim to place sound foundations for all our pupils to gain success in their future lives.
